About

Macro Sea is teaming up with 3rd Ward, an art collective from Brooklyn, NY, for a renovation to convert three formerly neglected buildings in Philadelphia into a hive of creativity for the surrounding community.

The approximately 27,000 square foot combined building will be home to 3rd Ward Philadelphia, housing their gallery, offices, art studios and classrooms, and coworking space, as well as a restaurant.

The renovation will preserve the unique character of each of the buildings, restoring key features such as the historic façade and plaster ceiling medallion of the church and the hardwood floors and brick of the warehouse.
