About

Since 2010 and the success of the mobile dumpster pools at NYC’s Summer Streets event, Macro Sea has been thinking about more ways to bring the pools to unexpected locations. This summer, the pools are starring in The Palms, a retro pop-up cocktail and music event sponsored by 3rd Ward, a Brooklyn-based arts collective. After a season of unique parties in the arts center of Long Island City, Queens, the pools will be sold to raise research and development funds for a new version. This new design will be even more rapidly deployable, and we hope to make the pools available to everyone in the near future.
