About

David Belt has been working with a team to create a repositioning strategy for a stunning and unique historical property owned by a university on the south shore of Long Island. The 180 acre property includes offices, dormitories, classrooms, sports facilities, a boathouse, and the iconic Bourne Mansion.

The team proposed a balanced approach to the development of the site that preserves the existing landmarks, expands the university's academic programs, enhances community access, and incorporates selective development to generate the necessary capital to repair and maintain the property.
